Taman Ayun Temple is a historic family temple of Mengwi Empire. The temple is also one of six royal temples in Bali that reflect the history and spirituality in the same place. “Taman Ayun” means Garden Temple above the water. It’s located in Mengwi Village, Badung Regency. It will be taking an hour from International Airport Ngurah Rai by car. The Temple is surrounded by a big fish pond. The Balinese magnificent architecture is the most attraction of this place and following by the historical the empire the past. Back in 2012 is awarded a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO due to reflecting the local wisdom way of life namely “Tri Hita Karana”.
