Mount Batur Trekking

A very special mountaineering experience is the hike to the top of the 1,717-meter-high Batur Volcano. Mount Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas northwest of Mount Agung. In the cool of the night, around 4 am the ascent begins, reaching the summit after two hours of an easy to medium level of difficulty climb. You reach the top of the summit right on time for sunrise where breakfast is served.

The panoramic view over the widespread volcanic landscape and other mountain peaks are well worth the physical exertion. Our professional tour guide will provide a headlamp, walking sticks, gloves, hiking bag, raincoat, and a small water bottle to make the climb much easier. After the descent back to the basecamp, clothes can be changed and the relaxing water of the hot springs awaits you.
Things to bring for the night trip include warm clothes, hiking/ sport shoes, long pants, swim clothes, a camera & sunblock.
