Arrival at Yogyakarta International airport of Yogyakarta. Welcome to Yogyakarta, the capital of the Special Territory of Indonesia in Java. Meet and greet at the airport. Afternoon, explore Nglanggeran Tourism Village, visit the Chocolate processing industry (the best type of chocolate in Indonesia) and the cultivation of Etawa goat's milk and soft trekking to enjoy the beauty of ancient volcanoes, Nglanggeran Reservoir, Kedung Kandang Waterfall and enjoy the sunset and the amazing natural panorama. Morning Royal City tour. Strolling at the central market of Beringharjo can be a fascinating and adventurous stop. Next, explore within the fortress walls, visit Sultan Palace or Kraton where the Royal family lives and Water Castle ruin of pools, arches and underground passage of the former pleasure garden of the Royal family. Afterward seeing the beauty of famous traditional Batik handicrafts works and experience a short course on Batik learn directly from a local craftsman and create your own Batik. Afternoon excursion to Borobudur temple, a UNESCO World heritage of humanity and one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. Enjoy when the sun disappeared over the horizon with the natural landscape with the stupa of Borobudur.
Morning visit Prambanan temple, Java’s most interesting Hindu shrine of the 9th century and one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in the world, known as Rara Jonggrang temple with a bas-relief depicting the famous Ramayana story. Then drive eastward to explore the lovely countryside to discover the most mysterious and atmospheric ancient site of Sukuh erotic temple. This temple is quite different in style from many of the other Hindu shrines in Central Java. Dating from the 15th century, it more resembles the architecture of the Incas, situated on the slope of Mt Lawu over 900 m above sea level, as a place of worship of ancient Javanese beliefs. Leaving Yogyakarta to Solo, the second city of the Javanese cultural heartland. Visit the 18th century Royal Mangkunegaran Palace, a palace that blends European elegance with Javanese architectural style and with its fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewelry and wooden mask and Triwindu flea market. Continue the journey drive along the east side via highway through Java’s heartland, passing endless teak forest and lush countryside to Bromo. Overnight at Bromo.
Enjoy the splendid view of Tumpak Sewu waterfall which means a thousand waterfalls, known for its unique shape with widening water flow like a curtain and offers a magnificent view. This is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Java and one of the highest waterfalls. Then, take the scenic route with breathtaking views over mountains, through the delightful villages until Kalibaru land producing tropical spices. Overnight at Kalibaru.
At 3.00 am depart to Mt Penanjakan on the rim of Tengger caldera by jeep to view stunning panoramic dawn. Enjoy the summit of it and admire the magnificent panorama over its caldera from the 2,700 m and views of Mt Bromo. Then, crossing the sea of sand and horseback riding offers beautiful sand dunes and vast savannahs until reaching the pick of Mt Bromo. After viewing this beautiful moment, back to the hotel. Transfer to Juanda international airport of Surabaya for departure.
