Arrival at Yogyakarta international airport of Yogyakarta. Welcome to Yogyakarta, the capital of the Special Territory of Indonesia in Java. Meet and greet at the airport. Direct visit to Prambanan temple, Java’s most interesting Hindu shrine of the 9th century, regarded as one of the most beautiful Hindu's temples in the world and known as Rara Jonggrang temple or temple of the ‘Slender Virgin’. This temple, represents the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with a bas-relief depicting the famous Ramayana story. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Yogyakarta.

Leaving Yogyakarta to Solo, second city of the Javanese cultural heartland. Visit the 18th century Royal Mangkunegaran Palace, a palace which blends European elegance with Javanese architectural style and with its fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewelry and wooden mask and Triwindu flea market, famous for the old and antique stuffs that will spoil your desire of art. Many kinds of souvenirs and works of art especially from Old Java can be found. Continue the journey drive along the east side via highway through Java’s heartland, passing endless teak forest and lush countryside to Bromo. Overnight at Bromo.
Before dawn, begin the ascent road to the peak of Mt Penanjakan most popular sunrise viewpoint 2700 m, where the sunrise over the whole of Tengger caldera. It is incomparable panorama to see the sunrise from the volcano ring. After dawn descends into the valley to ascend on horseback by ‘the path to heaven’ till Mt Bromo, the active volcano which regularly expels gas vents to the outside. From the top of Bromo, back to the hotel. Drive to Ijen, passing through several cities and villages. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Ijen.
Departure with jeep 4x4 through beautiful landscapes of rice fields and tropical forests, then expect a two-hour hike to reach the rim of the crater (necessary good fitness). The summit is truly breathtaking and spectacular view of the huge crater, beautiful mountain valley and an extraordinary visual experience. The volcano’s stunning turquoise lake is recognised as the largest highly acidic crater lake in the world. After enjoy the nature, then decending to Kalibendo village with its colorful coffee plantations, rubber, cotton, cloves. Transfer to the airport of Banyuwangi for departure or to the seaport of Ketapang, to board ferry crossing Bali strait to Gilimanuk (Bali).
